Much Love,
~Anna Leclercq

February 2012

I have become aware of hearing myself saying "I love you" or writing it very often to others, but I wanted to ask myself what I really believe "Love" means. At first I was focused on outer relationships and then I realized I must go within and start there, because whatever I am seeing in those relationships is just a reflection of my relationship with myself.
The following is the end result of what I uncovered.
I had to reach the height of my ignorance to get to the depths of the wisdom within.
Ultimately, I discovered it to be a "recipe" for loving myself more.

Love Is...
Admitting to myself that I don't really know what love is, but I am now willing to surrender so I might truly experience it.

Love Is...
Holding myself responsible for everything that happens in my life because I created it that way.

Love Is...
Not believing anything the negative voice in my mind tells me because it lies to keep me from the truth that lives in my heart.

Love Is...
Taking the time to go within to find the truth of who I am.

Love Is...
Knowing I am enough just as I am, a whole being filled with infinite possibilities.

Love Is...
Knowing who I am and recognizing my soul's reflection in another.

Love Is...
Sharing and caring. Listening without judgment. Hearing and understanding.

Love Is...
An argument that ends with turning the other cheek for a shoulder to cry on.

Love Is...
Just being there for myself in another to hold the energy of a loving space.

Love Is...
Allowing myself to become so vulnerable that I will never feel the need to hide from anything or anyone again.

Love Is...
Having the strength to let go of people, places, things and situations that simply no longer serve the same purpose they once did.

Love Is...
Having the courage to allow necessary changes to take place for my soul's higher purpose and growth.

Love Is...
Compassionate detachment.
Being gentle with myself
and giving myself time to heal without drama

Love Is...
Learning how to laugh and be joyful, reacting to all experiences with gratitude, humility and a sense of humor.

Love Is...
A deep longing for a Divine Union with my Higher Self.
To know God and return Home.
